  1. Defining and implementing the role testing plays with in the organizational structure
  2. Deploying and managing the appropriate testing framework to meet the testing mandate
  3. Manages overall test activities, planning and the development and execution of the master test plan
  4. Manages the relationship with other team leaders in the project
  5. Communicates the test project status to the management
  6. Ensures critical functions are prioritized and tested
  7. Coordinates with the development and configuration management teams to resolve issues with the test environment
  8. Implementing and evolving appropriate measurement and metrics
  9. Focuses on resolution of high priority issues
  10. Creates Master Test Plan and coordinates the creation of other detailed test plans
  11. Communicates and coordinates regression tests and performance tests
  12. Ensures all types of tests according to the test plan are executed
  13. Recommends solutions based on outstanding issues
