- Defining and implementing the role testing plays with in the organizational structure
- Deploying and managing the appropriate testing framework to meet the testing mandate
- Manages overall test activities, planning and the development and execution of the master test plan
- Manages the relationship with other team leaders in the project
- Communicates the test project status to the management
- Ensures critical functions are prioritized and tested
- Coordinates with the development and configuration management teams to resolve issues with the test environment
- Implementing and evolving appropriate measurement and metrics
- Focuses on resolution of high priority issues
- Creates Master Test Plan and coordinates the creation of other detailed test plans
- Communicates and coordinates regression tests and performance tests
- Ensures all types of tests according to the test plan are executed
- Recommends solutions based on outstanding issues
