I am working as a software tester for the last 10 years and over the years I have learned a couple of things that were very much helpful during my career upbringing. I would like to refer them as the Tester Qualities and below are the most important qualities that a software testing professional should have:
1.You have to be very detailed oriented

2.Have to have a keen eye to judge things the right way

3.Good understanding of the software development process

4.No compromise on quality

5.Good communication skills

6.Investigative mind and attitude

7.Patience.

8.Eagerness to learn new things.

9.Mentality to break things in this case software.

10.Tenacious, persistent

There is often a misconception that testing isn’t always as challenging as writing code, architecture, and therefore they carry less importance within an organization. A large proportion of Computer graduates will become software developer or network engineers, and possibly would not even consider applying for a job as a software tester.

In reality testing can be extremely creative activity. You still get to develop complicated software, only the objective is different. Where developers and architectures have to stick to a fairly rigid environment to developer their things, testers have the freedom about what and how to build applications that increase productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.
